Internships
As one of my classes at Hopkins High School I am a part of a program called ProPEL (Professionals Providing Experience for Life). In this class we are tasked with interviewing, setting up and completing an internship at a company in our prospective field.
Iota Motion
Iota is a growing biomedical company that has engineered a device that aids in the insertion of cochlear implants. Through my time there I learned the ins and outs of keeping and sorting inspection, shipping and manufacturing files. I also learned how to execute a device inspection. This experience aided in helping me decided defiantly that I want to pursue biomedical engineering in my next steps in college.

Great River Greening
Great River Greening is a non profit volunteer organization that focuses on conservation work through all of Minnesota. They host events where corporations, families, schools, individuals and more can sign up to do a variety of conservation work. During my time with them I developed leadership skills as well as planing and organizing events with anywhere from 10-100 volunteers. I also learned a variety of different environmental skills. Even though I decided not to go into the conservation field, I learned a lot about leadership, planning, and adaptability which are extremely important in any profession.
